Agrim Tower

Sir Agrim was a member of the Order of the East, a noble order of paladins whose numbers were decimated in defense of the lost city of Belmere. He proved himself to the Lord of Belmere, earning a fiefdom. His family ruled the tower for generations, each successive son joining the order and serving with distinction, until the Last Lord of Agrim Tower. This ignoble scion was cast out from the order for dishonor. After a few years of serving as a sellsword, he was grievously wounded in a dual. Rather than dying with what little honor remained to him, he summoned a nearby necromancer to perform a terrible rite upon his corpse. Fortunately, the Last Lord’s squire discovered the act, sealing the undead monstrosity in its tomb. Little more is known of the story, as the squire refused to speak of the event much further. The tower fell to ruins and most forgot of its existence.
